Faber-Castell has combined all the advantages of artist’s inks with the benefits of a modern, easy-to-use pen – the Pitt Artist Pen.
Pitt Artist Pens are used daily by artists worldwide for illustrations, fashion design, life drawings, portraits, sequential art, canvas paintings, hand lettering, urban sketching and more!
The finest India ink in a practical drawing pen: the water-based ink is highly pigmented with excellent lightfastness. It is pH neutral, acid-free, odorless, permanent, smudge-proof and waterproof when dry. The 24 rich colors can be mixed to build a larger range of color. Layer the transparent colors to create even bolder variations.
The India ink pens can be used on canvas and virtually every kind of paper is suitable. The water-based ink of the Pitt Artist Pen underlines the respective properties of the paper and a major advantage of the India ink pen is that it does not bleed through most paper.
Pitt Artist Pens feature a smooth, flexible brush nib that retains its shape and can produce a line of 1 to 5mm. The durable nib creates variable brush strokes of broad, medium or narrow widths with an even application of color. The angle of inclination and the pressure applied to the tip determine the appearance of the line. This versatile brush nib allows for artistic expression and the creative possibilities are endless.
Corresponding barrel colors make identifying the India ink quick and easy when working between colors. Lightfast ratings are noted on each barrel with a star icon (resistance to fading).
24 brush pen colors come packaged in a sturdy case that is ideal for use in the art studio, is a nice addition to the desk or makes for an easy-to-use companion for artists on-the-go. Perfect for gifting!
Pitt Artist Pens are available individually or in color balanced assorted sets.

The ink flow is so satisfying and the variance in sizes is also fun to play with for drawing and writing. So nice!

I love the variety of pens with this set and they work as stated. However, they are VERY uncomfortable to write with for any length of time. When I set up my bullet journal pages, I can’t do too much before having to take a break with these pens. I wish the part of the pen where your finger tips go was more rounded/ergonomically correct. Maybe they exist and I just haven’t search enough for Sakura pens like that.

These pens are excellent. Great for line drawing, zentangles and they are permanent so you can use watercolors with them and they don’t run. I have many sets!
Amanda Rosel –

Elvia Reyes –
Good product glad I got it.

Excellent product. Very dark black that really stands out for lines or shading. Thickness can be altered depending on pressure or speed applied. It will smudge if you run your hand over it in the first 5 or 10 seconds of applying.

Bonne tenue en main, glisse facilement sur le papier qui n’est pas percé par l’encre. J’en suis très content.
Bonnie Wheeler –
Fantastic pencils for my artwork. Highly recommended

So i’ve had these a few weeks and i use them ALOT at work, and through work found my love of drawing again in between my cases. Lol the “wow, you’re super talented” from the colleagues def helps fuel this fire but anyways. For writing, i write almost micro small but OCD about neat handwriting too so the .005 is my go to and allows me to write super small while being extremely precise.
